My heart is heavy this weekend as I learned of two tragedies hitting home and heart. The first was the death of Christian songwriter Steven Curtis Chapman’s youngest child, Maria Sue. It All Works Out

The dog had diarrhea.

Thus begins the tale of my “sad song day”. But first, my dog Joey had gas. It started the night before. Those of you with dogs know that canine flatulence is just about one of the most unpleasant things we put up with for love of our furry friends. But this was a particularly bad case. So I was actually eager to log in a full day of work at the office. I assumed like all the other times before, this particular embarrassing condition would resolve itself before my return.

Miracles Happen

Wonderful news! Our prayers of faith have been answered!

I was absolutely thrilled to read Sam Shaw’s update on little Eloise. She is well. She is laughing. Her doctors cannot explain the change that took place which enabled her to forgo the scheduled surgical procedure. Eloise becomes another living witness that miracles do happen. I rejoice with Sam and his family. My soul is full of gladness!
