Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. He is the promised Messiah, the Redeemer, and the Son of God. Latter-day Saints worship him, follow him and strive to be like him. Jesus Christ is at the center and core of every aspect of our faith. Simply put, Mormons are Christians. We believe in His ultimate sacrifice on our behalf (Atonement). We rejoice in his Resurrection, and the gift that all will rise again. Indeed, Jesus brought the promise that Death is not the end of Life. Latter-day Saints believe that the same church organization Jesus Christ established upon the earth during his mortal ministry (Ephesians 2:20) has been restored again - including a prophet and 12 apostles , with Jesus at the helm.
“The fundamental principles of our religion are the testimony of the Apostles and Prophets, concerning Jesus Christ; that He died, was buried, and rose again the third day, and ascended into heaven; and all other things which pertain to our religion are only appendages to it.” Joseph Smith
In this video you will hear the voices of each current living apostle and the prophet, sharing their personal witness. I love and revere each of these men. I honor them as servants of God, and am humbled by their daily examples of compassion and selfless service . I invite you to listen to their voices and to feel the power of their words. They offer a message of peace, comfort and hope; inviting all to “Come Unto Christ”
