Janet, I hear you – everyone always tells young mothers to “enjoy this, they grow up so fast” but when you are knee deep in diapers and sleepless nights it feels like time is frozen. Then suddenly BAM! – they are entering their Senior year of High School, choosing colleges, filling out scholarship applications, talking about moving away from home…it’s all enough to make me want to sit down and cry! Time speeds up when we don’t want it to.

Anne, your book sounds very cool. And yes, I agree – I think Millie’s photo IS actually Laura Bush! (or maybe they are related and I am starting to get celebrity readers ) :)

I cherish the bonus years that I have with my youngest even though I wish she could get married and have a family of her own.

I have never heard anyone say that they wished that those years went by faster but almost everyone misses family when they are gone.
