Thank you for sharing this. I’ve been of a mind as of late that it’s easy enough to avoid the “do not”s, but we tend to forget we need to be doing the “to do”s. Thank you for the historical perspective too. I’ve always found it odd that men of God would spit all over the place without regard or thought of what they were doing, but if they didn’t know it was wrong, what else would they do?
