God our Father has a Gameplan, and we’re all on the team! If He had a “playbook”, He might borrow a few play titles straight from daytime TV; “As The World Turns“, “One Life To Live“, “Guiding Light“, and “All My Children“. He could certainly include “Search For Tomorrow“, and “Another World“. For simplicity, this [...]
A very historic and sacred event in history was commemorated this weekend. In June 1978 the Priesthood was extended to “every worthy male” member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I remember that prophetic day. I would have been 12 years old. My mother picked me up from school and told me [...]

I love this video! Mixing the beauty and sophistication of the orchestra and the choir with the simple nativity put on by children and the smiles and work of the parents was a perfect fit. Wonderful – thank you!
A wonderful song! My favorite Christmas album is the Choir’s 2000 offering “A Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas.” I like that it includes many lesser-known songs like this one (I also really like “Whence is that Goodly Fragrance” and “What Shall we Give to the Babe in the Manger”) along with some classics, like “What Child is This” and “The First Noel.” And Mack Wilberg’s arrangement of “Angels from the Realms of Glory” (set to “Gloria”) is pure genius! That instantly became one of my favorites as soon as I heard it (the Choir’s performance with Sissel was absolutely enchanting).
