Words For The Heart

Dr. Russell M. Nelson performing heart surgery, 1951

As evidenced through the violence, wars, famine, destructive forces of nature, financial crises, personal tragedy and general devastation reported by the media each day, we are surely living in the time of great confusion prophesied by the Lord when he said, Continue reading

The Importance Of Music

This new video expresses perfectly the way that I feel about music.

Marissa Rohlfing

I am so impressed with Marissa Rohlfing, a beautiful young Mormon Soprano woman from Hawaii who is truly magnifying her talents by not only sharing the song of her heart, but helping others to do the same. From one “MoSop” to another, I salute Marissa! May we all follow her good advice and positive example. – Aloha!

Remember Easter

I believe that Easter is the most sacred and important holiday of the year. Sadly, its meaning and significance is often forgotten. The new video entitled “His Holy Name – An Easter Declaration” says everything I could, and more. ~ MoSop

A beautiful new video has been released that depicts a portion of the Old Testament account of Queen Esther, and the events that led to her great act of faith.

Tips For A Happy New Year

Richard G. Scott

Elder Richard G. Scott, an apostle with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints often speaks on the subject of how to find happiness. I am sharing a short video clip with excerpts from a recent talk to help spark some ideas as you contemplate your New Year Resolutions, and set the course you wish to sail the next 12 months.

There Is Always Hope

Statistically speaking, the days that follow Christmas and other year-end holiday celebrations show a higher spike in depression and suicide. Today’s post is is a new 9 minute video from MormonMessages which offers some insight and solace.  Produced by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the message comes from a talk by LDS apostle Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, originally given at a CES Fireside at Brigham Young Univeristy on Sept. 7, 2008 - entitled “Lessons From Liberty Jail“, combined with beautiful photography, and touching movie clips.  It stands as a powerful reminder that we are never really alone, and there is always hope. I encourage you to watch!
