Today, my message of hope and praise is just a little different from the norm. I wish to acknowledge the suffering that often accompanies this time of year when empty chairs and broken hearts seem especially out of place.

A Russian Christmas Miracle

I beleive that when music is performed with the spirit of God, it is the most powerful tool He has on earth in preparing a soul, softening a mind, and touching a heart. This story is a perfect example of how the power of spiritual music made a difference one cold December night in Moscow. Continue reading

Today is a special day. On July 24, 2009 the Mormon Pioneers entered the Salt Lake Valley after years of persecution and an arduous trek of over 1300 miles - blazing what became known as the Mormon Trail. I have blogged before about Honoring The Mormon Pioneers, and my own pioneer heritage. It is something I treasure. … Continue reading

You’re Not Alone

There are times in our life when we are going to feel completely and utterly alone. I have endured these. Some have only lasted a moment, or a day. Other experiences have lasted over a long extended period of time. These feelings are painful, frightening, and often seem overwhelming. If ever you are feeling lonliness, hopelessness, or fear, I want … Continue reading

Don’t Turn Around

Don’t Turn Around

Recently my heart has become tender as I ponder the bitter-sweet truth of being a parent. Our babies grow up. On one hand, it is a thrill to see Baby reach milestones . We celebrate her very first step, the first word, the first loose tooth and the first day of school, among a long list … Continue reading

Pandemic Panic versus Peace

In light of the “pandemic panic” which is presently creeping through our nation, and the world, I think it is important to step back, and put things into proper perspective. Nothing captures the imagination like a new scourge, and too often we worry about remote risks while ignoring real dangers…The best antidote for this kind … Continue reading

Consider The Lilies: Fear Not

Jesus often taught his followers to “fear not“. In today’s world climate of anxiety and uncertainty, Christ’s parable of the lily is more relevant than ever, and offers us great comfort and proper perspective. In the Master’s sermon on the mount, imagery from nature is used to remind us of God’s power over all things.  … Continue reading

The holy scriptures teach us of the great battle which is being waged for souls between the forces of good and the forces of evil. In this new MoSop Movie you will see that once we become truly converted to the Lord’s cause on earth, then we are recruited as His warriers for truth and righteousness…to victoriously serve our fellow men through missionary and humanitarian efforts.
