A wonderful and stirring reminder of just how utterly alone this Captain of our salvation was in the ordeal he endured to accomplish His Father’s will on earth. Thank you once more for your faithful testimony and friendship and special gift this Easter season.
If you haven’t seen my post on our Lord’s prayer-time before being betrayed and violently taken to suffer at the hands of his enemies, perhaps you would like to see it and meditate on his words to his Father. It gives us an insight into his inner thoughts and emotions as he entered that last few hours as our representative. There is great mystery here and we are safe only as we stick to the sacred text.
