My good friend Alex Boyé is on fire right now with his career! And, I could not be happier for him! His life is nothing short of amazing and miraculous – and reads a bit like a modern day Dicken’s novel. His newest rise to success is stunning and so well deserved – born out of the depths of humility and a heart of gold. This year has been particularly epic for Alex. In addition to being a top contender on two nationally televised music competitions – on both sides of the pond (America’s Got Talent and X-Factor UK), yesterday, Boyé performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City!
Most musicians fulfill a lifelong dream if they are lucky enough to perform at Carnegie once in their lifetime. But Alex Boyé has performed not just ONCE but THREE separate gigs at Carnegie – all in just ONE YEAR!
The Carnegie Trifecta
- March 4, 2015 – The Piano Guys Tour
2. July 1 & 2, 2015- with The Mormon Tabernacle Choir East Coast Tour.
3. December 4, 2015 The American Christmas Carol Concert – headlining with Sarah McLaughlan, Neal Sedaka and a list of top talent!
Just one day later, on Dec. 5th, 2015 Alex Boyé’s new Christmas video was released as part of the #AChildIsBorn campaign! The message by Alex at the end of this video is a priceless as the song.
What will YOU be giving this year?
I want to personally thank Alex for giving his whole heart, soul, testimony and talent to the world. He is a man who has dedicated himself first and foremost to God and his family . Because of that, the Lord has directed his path and opened up doors for his career that he never could have even imagined just a few years ago. I know. I’ve been privileged to watch his journey over our eight year friendship, and I’ve been continually inspired knowing this good, humble soul. The year 2015 has surely raised the bar high in epic “smashing-ness” – it may seem a hard one to top – but if anyone can, it will be Alex Boyé. Without a doubt, the Lord has many more hearts for him to touch, souls to lift, and lives to inspire with his gifts. I can’t wait to see what 2016 brings for him!
Merry Christmas! – MoSop
