Three, Two, One…

GENERAL CONFERENCE, and running my first FULL MARATHON (in two decades) have now reached simultaneous single digit countdowns…

All the anticipation, excitement, preparation, eagerness, nervousness, fear and joy have mixed up together and blasted my emotional index into a crazy ride!

THREE … GENERAL CONFERENCE

3countdown

ONLY 3 MORE DAYS!

Have I told you lately how exciting it is that LDS General Conference is happening this weekend? (not much, only here, and here and here and here and here…)

I’m actively preparing for Conference, and hard at work memorizing all my music.

Here is just a short clip from a past Conference message I LOVED:

It is anticipated that our dear prophet, President Thomas S. Monson who gave this beautiful message will not be able to speak to us this weekend, due to his poor health. We love him and pray for him. I am certain he will be oft quoted by our other speakers.

I’m looking forward to seeing if any new Temples will be announced this time around, or if any other big announcements or changes will happen … we shall see… but most of all, I’m looking forward to the spoken messages, the music, and the wonderful feeling of escaping the chaos of the world, and having peace! ♪

You are officially invited!

TWO … MARATHON

9-days

SINGLE DIGITS NOW! …

St. George Marathon …I’m coming for you!

ONE …

OK… hold on to your seat… because here is something totally awesome!

Wait for it…

I found a message from GENERAL CONFERENCE all about a MARATHON

wow cat

Oh, yes my friends!

We HAVE just converged my TWO countdowns, into ONE!

*fistbump*

In life, as in a marathon,

There are hills.

There are valleys.

It’s hard, sometimes it hurts, and it often feels impossible.

But, we are never alone.

  • This is the message we will hear in GENERAL CONFERENCE (over and over in unique ways for about 8 hours over two days) this weekend.

  • This is the message running my MARATHON will be teaching me (over and over in unique ways for about 6+ hours over 26.2 miles) next weekend.

No matter what, just keep putting one foot in front of the other, and move forward with faith, and courage!

It’s worth it.

Love, MoSop
